graphic designer

Our graphic designer will be the lifeblood of sqribbly. You'll collaborate with senior leadership to understand sqribbly's client needs and deliver on projects in a creative, timely manner. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who's ready to dive in, get creative, and roll up their sleeves to make a difference for our clients!

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to determine projects' scope of work

  • Create and execute on creative projects using Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or other applicable graphic software applications

  • Communicate with clients and senior leadership to iterate on mockups and client projects in a timely manner

  • Gain training and experience in all aspects of editorial web production, including layout, photo editing, headlining, and scheduling

Qualified candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and resume. **Please note that a portfolio is required for consideration.**

This is a part-time paid position (profit-share).


social media intern

Our social media intern will get to take charge and craft sqribbly's voice on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, and SnapChat. We've stayed quiet so far, growing primarily through word-of-mouth, so this is your chance to get creative and have a long-term impact on sqribbly's growth!

Responsibilities include:

  • Help plan and execute special engagement campaigns 

  • Maintain and monitor existing company social media accounts, including Facebook and Twitter

  • Help grow sqribbly's presence on new social media, including Instagram, Google+, and SnapChat

  • Use social media metrics to track user engagement

  • Gain training and experience in all aspects of editorial web production, including layout, photo editing, headlining, and scheduling

Qualified candidates should submit a resume as well as links to any social media accounts that they have managed. While you need not have professional social media experience, referenceable materials should be included in your application. 

It is important to note that this is an unpaid internship. However, we may opt to reward course credit depending on your program's curriculum.


content writing intern

Calling all English majors, Shakespeare wannabes, and blogging enthusiasts! As a content writing intern, you'll help grow our blog, The Drawing Board, from...well, the drawing board. We're brand new to the blogosphere, so your creativity and expertise will help give a voice (and an awesome one, at that) to the company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with senior leadership to set communications strategy

  • Help plan and maintain company editorial calendar

  • Maintain, monitor, and report metrics on company blog readership

  • Coordinate with social media intern to ensure consistent messaging across all digital media

  • Gain training and experience in all aspects of editorial web production, including layout, photo editing, headlining, and scheduling

Qualified candidates should submit a resume as well as two writing samples. Portfolios are not required, although they are strongly encouraged.
